All communities within SouthGrow have emergency services.

Fire Fighting/Ambulance

• All communities are protected by local fire departments.
• The Counties have agreements with community fire departments to provide fire fighting services in rural areas.
• The City of Lethbridge has a fire department that provides fire, ambulance (paramedic/EMT) rescue, and fire prevention services for Lethbridge and area.
• Ambulance services are available in all communities.

Policing

• The City of Lethbridge and the Town of Coaldale are served by the Lethbridge Regional Police Service.  The Town of Taber has its own local police protection services.
